Why this program
I have been building digital media projects and training entrepreneurs across the Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa since 2011. African diaspora entrepreneurs in Europe — nearly half of whom live in France — are no longer simply sending money back to their home countries: they have become investors, innovators, and drivers of change, building businesses across two continents at once. Nearly 9 billion dollars in remittances from France to Africa in 2021, according to the World Bank — a movement this program is designed to support, not just observe.
